Located at 141 Essex Ave in Gloucester, Massachusetts, the Castle Manor Inn is a Queen Anne Victorian estate completed in 1900 for Ruben Brooks, co-founder of LePage’s Glue Company. The main inn features twin turret towers, ten guest rooms, a foyer with a display case containing historic LePage's glue samples, and three fireplaced dining rooms belonging to the on-site Sea Glass Restaurant. For wedding receptions, a nearly 2,400-square-foot tented back deck seats up to 130 guests and features a gazebo overlooking the salt marsh on the Annisquam River. Overnight accommodations comprise the ten manor rooms plus 16 detached motor lodge units, and staying guests receive a full-service breakfast. Wedding packages provide an on-site event manager, space set up and breakdown, cake cutting, tables with white garden chairs, linens, dinnerware, and station or buffet dining prepared by the venue's chef and staff using a private, full-service kitchen.
