Gore Place

Historic Estate / Mansion in Waltham, MA. Wedding venue pricing, packages and fees.

Completed in 1806 as the summer country home of Massachusetts Governor Christopher Gore, Gore Place is a 50-acre historic estate in Waltham that features a Federal-style brick mansion, a working farm with sheep pastures, and a restored 1793 Carriage House. Couples can prepare for their event in a private dressing suite inside the mansion before holding outdoor ceremonies on the lawn near a grove of trees. Receptions take place either inside the Carriage House, which features warm wood accents and stable doors, or within an outdoor event tent that seats up to 200 guests for a seated reception. Standard rental packages provide an eight-hour rental period and include a modern kitchenette workspace, wheelchair-accessible restrooms, and ample free parking on-site. Because food costs are not included in the venue rental fees, hosts must hire outside catering.
