Located at 665 VT RT 9 WEST in Searsburg, Vermont, Chez Nous is a historic estate originally established as an 1890s dairy farm by Mary and Celia Heather. The estate features a restored 20-room mansion that houses six guest rooms, a library with an inscribed polished mantelpiece, a tea room, and a wrap-around, covered front porch. For receptions, a 3,000-square-foot barn seats up to 180 guests and is constructed with exposed wood beams, chandelier lighting, a performance platform, and a balcony. Above the barn sits a loft room with a TV, a game table, and a foosball table, while the exterior grounds feature a white iron arbor, walking paths through the woods, and the flowing Heather Brook. Outside catering and food trucks are permitted with proof of caterer's insurance, though the venue does not provide bar services.
