Originally built in 1925 as the headquarters for Boston's Lodge No. 10 of the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks, the Courtyard Boston Downtown is a 13-story hotel located at 275 Tremont Street in the city's Theater District. Designed by architects James E. McLaughlin and G. Houston Burr, the property houses the first-floor Bradford Ballroom, a 4,320-square-foot reception space featuring original 1920s crystal chandeliers, marble pillars, original fireplaces, and bas-relief ceilings with Doric columns. The hotel's lobby features black-and-white harlequin marble floors, while on-site dining is available at the Post No.
