Built in 2022, SaltWater Fields Wedding & Event Barn is an oceanfront venue located on eight acres overlooking the Saint George River estuary in South Thomaston, Maine. The 84-foot by 55-foot post-and-beam barn features cathedral ceilings, exposed beams, a fireplace, a catering kitchen, and dozens of glass chandeliers, including three giant antique fixtures in the main hall. Outside, the property features manicured gardens, a gazebo, and outdoor ceremony sites along the water's edge. Full rentals include access to two private wedding suites, a matching post-and-beam guest house that sleeps 13 guests, two seasonal glamping tents, a camper photo booth, and a horse trailer bar. The venue hosts seated receptions for up to 200 guests and provides tables, chairs, linens, and tableware, though outside catering is required as the venue does not provide food or bar services.
