The Greatful Dane Lodge is a historic estate in Newport, New Hampshire, that features a 1767 Colonial home—previously utilized as a tavern and stagecoach stop—and an 1863 post-and-beam barn. Situated on five acres atop a hill, the property overlooks Mount Sunapee and includes the Plateau ceremonial site, wildflower pastures, a scenic fire pit, and a granite seating area. Receptions take place inside the barn's Grand Hall, which accommodates up to 104 seated guests or 175 standing, alongside the glass-enclosed Blu Bar. For overnight stays, the venue provides lodging for up to 18 guests across four private bedrooms in the barn and an adjacent four-bedroom house. Couples select their own preferred caterers or food trucks, and packages include private access to the grounds from 10:00 a. m.
