Located at 40 Clubhouse Lane in Thornton, New Hampshire, Owl's Nest Resort is set on Lake Harold in the White Mountains and features on-site lodging, restaurants, and New Hampshire's only Nicklaus Design 18-hole golf course. The property houses the Lakehouse, a 6,800-square-foot timber-framed venue perched partially over the water that features exposed wood beams, a floor-to-ceiling Riverstone fireplace, and a wrap-around deck. Another on-site venue, the Sunset Pavilion, is a 6,000-square-foot open-air space constructed with timber beams and clear-glass retractable doors that opens onto an adjacent fieldstone patio overlooking Franconia Notch. The resort seats up to 200 guests for a seated reception. Plated or buffet dinner packages include a stationary display, four butler-passed hors d'oeuvres, a first course salad, a choice of two entrées and one vegetarian option, and a complimentary prosecco toast.
