Located in Plantsville, Connecticut, the Aqua Turf Club is a banquet hall set on 35 acres of landscaped grounds originally founded in 1969 by Joe and Kay Calvanese. The property features a windmill, gardens with cobblestone paths, ponds with water fountains, and the heated and air-conditioned "Chapel in the Pines," which seats up to 240 guests. Indoor receptions are held in one of four banquet rooms: the Glass Room, which features a fireplace and full-length windows; the Wagon Room, detailed with dark wood and a bar fashioned from an antique wagon; Kay's Pier South, which has a balcony and overlooks a pond; or Kay's Pier North, which features a grand staircase. Wedding packages include a private bridal suite, a Maître D', and a multi-course meal consisting of cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres, a salad course, a pasta course, a choice of three entrées, a potato and vegetable, and dessert. Receptions also feature a top-shelf open bar with liquor, house wine, and draft beer, a champagne toast, and white floor-length tablecloths and napkins with a choice of color overlay.
